SkyDrive 3.0 now available for Windows Phone 8 devices



SkyDrive for Windows Phone 8  has been update to version 3.0 and is now available for download. Compared to the previous version, the version 3.0 provides the following new features:
  • Search SkyDrive files and folders 
  • New settings for the size of loading and downloading photos 
  • Icons and graphics of the updated app

At the moment we do not know if these features will be implemented for other devices with Windows Phone 7.5 on board.
SkyDrive is available for free and can be downloaded from Windows Phone Store.

Skype version 1.2 released with several improvements and a few fixes

The new Xbox Live game for Windows Phone is Final Fantasy



Like every Wednesday before,today Microsoft introduced a new game in the Xbox Live marketplace for all owners of a Windows Phone devices, now is the time of Final Fantasy.

Final Fantasy is one of the most beloved video games and role-playing adventure ,where you prepare your army and battle the evil demons in order to save the world. 

Tentacles is this week Xbox Live title of the Week



This week Xbox Live title of the week is Tentacles.Tentacles has been developed and released by Microsoft exclusively for its mobile operating system. 

From the description in the WP marketplace we can read:
Press lightly on the screen, and Tentacles of the 40 test levels splits fingers and thrilling boss fights, you'll be surprised to find innovative and intuitive playability.
Think fast, act with caution and continues eating. The enemies will impede and you have to tear their eyes while trying to defeat Dr. Phluff, the mad scientist. Where will this battle end? Guess! No, we did not own!

Face Touch - Photo Manipulation app from Microsoft Research for Windows Phone



Microsoft Research has released new application in WP Marketplace,the app is called Face Touch and this app allows you to change facial expressions on a photo and share the results on your social network
Operation is simple: just shoot or take a picture, load the application and click on the buttons with various smile to see our own face changed just like the famous "smiley" in vogue in the online and SMS.
The facial recognition technology allows you to select the different faces in the photo and attach to each expression, all integrated with Pictures Hub and the ability to share the results of morphing on Facebook, Twitter and SkyDrive.

Skype Windows Phone app hits Beta (Video)


After much waiting, here is a few minutes ago that Microsoft has released Windows Phone marketplace in the first beta version is Skype.

The final version of the application will be available starting in April, but starting today, all Windows Phone users can download a beta version of Skype from the marketplace.

Skype for Windows Phone allows you to make free calls and video calls using the network data from our end. Do not miss the chance to chat, view profile, or use our Skype credit to call land lines or mobile.

Splinter Cell - Conviction: Xbox live game for Windows Phone, (Video)


Here comes another video dedicated to the Xbox Live titles coming to Windows Phone. Splinter Cell: Conviction carries  classic Xbox and PC to Windows Phone, which, judging from the first moving pictures, showing off seems really great graphics and controls are simple to use.The game is expected to come on Windows Phone market February 22.

BulletAsylum Xbox Live game coming to Marketplace this week (video)


The good times for Windows Phone users continues, Microsoft releases a new game every week for Xbox Live for Windows Phone. This week, the upcoming game is BulletAsylum, an action game developed by Microsoft Studios.


The goal will be to fight the alien hordes that come close. In a stylized graphics, this game will allow us to use one or two fingers to point and destroy the invaders and maintain our defenses. The title will beexclusive to Windows Phone.

Skype for Windows Phone is just around the corner


One of the most anticipated Windows Phone applications, certainly is Skype.Being part of Microsoft’s own division, Skype is yet to release a Windows Phone app

Now from wp7lab comes the news that the official Skype application for Windows Phone coming soon in the marketplace in private beta. The site wp7lab colleagues write that he had received information that the release of the beta version will arrive within the next few weeks, not everyone will be able to download the application, Microsoft will forwardinvitations to perform testing of Skype.  

Skype for Windows Phone is just around the corner and we’ve teamed up with the Skype folks to help with beta testing. If you are receiving this newsletter directly, look for an invitation in the coming weeks and be on the inside track for what is sure to be one of the hottest new apps on the Marketplace!”

If this is true, on the one hand we have the news that the development of Skype is not finished yet, other than with the release of the beta is expected to have a final version by the first half of 2012.
