Developed by British software house Turnipsoft , Freda is a free format file that can readEPUB (DRM-free), FB2 , HTML and TXT and easy customization of controls, fonts and colors, and the management of the annotations and bookmarks. There is also support forformatting text (bold, italic, alignment, and margins), display of images , search for definitions and translations for the terms.
Freda allows you to download books from online catalogs such as Feedbooks , Smashwords, and, of course, the Project Gutenberg. Otherwise, if you already have a collection of books, you can access it through SkyDrive, DropBox or other similar services. You can also download books from a website, using the integrated web browser.
