Skull of Shogun, a cross-platform game that will allow us to play on Xbox 360, Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8




As we explained in several articles, Windows 8 and Windows Phone Apollo share the same "core". This means that porting an application from one platform to another will be extremely simplified and  Skulls of the Shogun it is a concrete example.
The team of software developers in the house 17-Bit Studios , in fact, has recently announced that the gameSkull of Shogun will support cross-platform gameplay , so we can play simultaneously on Xbox 360, and Tablet PC Windows 8 and Windows smartphones phone. For those who still do not know, Skulls of the Shogun is a strategy game set in Japan in which we control through a Samurai asynchronous turn-based gameplay where the player can handle multiple games at once regardless of its opponents.
Skulls of the Shogun Supports cross-platform, asynchronous (turn-based) multiplayer for up to 4 players, Allowing gamers to invite friends via Xbox Live - no matter what platform they're on.Notifications to alert players and game invites when it's Their turn to play. Cross-platform Applies To play the game's Extensive single-player campaign, too, progress may be saved to the cloud and Resumed on any device.
So we will have the opportunity to start the game in our Xbox 360, continue them due to our mobility smartphone Windows Phone and then go to any Windows terminal 8 with ease. The title is exactly the same in all devices and loaded all the bailouts to the cloud , we will continue to giorcare regardless of platform we're using.
The developers of 17-Bit Studios also announced that Skulls of the Shogun will be present in both ARM and x86 versions of Windows 8 and will present different interfaces for touch controls, gamepad and mouse / keyboard. It should arrive later this year and will likely be a revolution in the cross-platform gaming experience.
