Nokia’s Groupon App Updated for Windows Phone 8


The partnership between Nokia and Groupon was announced last spring  and allowed the deployment of the application in Nokia Collection and it will be exclusive for a period of six months after launch. Groupon, an application that allows you to keep an eye on the best offers listed in the network, was recently updated to version 3.0. It is a specially organized for holders of Nokia Lumia devices based on Windows Phone 8 OS.
Groupon, have long been present in the Nokia Collection , and now is the new release is compatible with the new software platform developed by Microsoft and integrated into the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820.
The main changes introduced by Groupon 3.0 include:
  • Support for Windows Phone 8
  • Ability to view the offer nearby exploiting the WP8 lockscreen
  • Ability to view the offers are due in a specific tab
  • Ability to view the coupons purchased in Windows Wallet

As you can see, these are features that take advantage of the new features of Windows Phone 8, as the renewed lockscreen that can give space to the subject of the various applications and Windows Phone Wallet, the "virtual wallet" integrated into the new release of its mobile platform Microsoft.
Version 3.0 is an exclusive Windows Phone 8 devices and only affects the version contained in the Nokia Collection. The latest version can be installed with the Windows Phone 7.5 device at the moment is 2.9.
